I was pleased the only set up required was to remove the plastic from the filter and plug it in. I placed it in our living room. Soon after I turned it on, I could smell the “clean, fresh air” beginning to fill the room. We have 2 dogs and 4 inside cats so this air filter is a necessity. I’ve also noticed a decrease in the amount of surface dust. At night we move the unit to our bedroom for the PERFECT white noise. We have slept much better in the last month.
